About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Install4U website and any Watch4U service plan you sign up for. By using the website or signing up for a plan, you agree to these terms. The full plan-specific terms are presented when you accept a service plan and are part of your agreement.

Service plans

Watch4U service plans are professional security system maintenance and oversight services. The full scope, included services, exclusions, and conditions of each plan are described in the plan-specific terms presented at signup. Service plans are not insurance and do not guarantee against theft, vandalism, injury, loss, business interruption, or failure of the system to capture every event.

Eligibility & service area

Service plans are available to clients within Install4U’s standard service area (Southern California). Locations outside the standard service area may be subject to additional travel charges. We reserve the right to assess existing systems before accepting them onto a service plan.

Billing and payment

Annual prepaid plans are billed in full upon acceptance. Month-to-month plans are billed in advance and recur monthly until canceled. If payment fails or becomes overdue, plan benefits may be suspended until the account is brought current.

Cancellation

Month-to-month plans may be canceled with at least three business days’ written notice prior to the next billing date. Annual prepaid plans are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Install4U may discontinue a plan with 30 days’ written notice; in that case, a prorated refund of any prepaid balance will be issued.

Service minimums

Service calls beyond the included scope of your plan are billed at your member labor rate of $145/hour. Trip charges may apply to locations outside of the waived service area for your tier.

Limitation of liability

Install4U’s services are intended to support system reliability and provide documented professional oversight. We are not responsible for loss of footage, data, or settings caused by factors outside our direct control — including hardware failure, storage limitations, power or network interruption, or third-party software issues — except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including the Watch4U brand, the design, and the written materials, is the property of Install4U LLC. You may share links to the site, but you may not copy or republish the content without permission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. Continued use of the website or service after updates means you accept the revised terms.
